The Old Lifeboat House
This restaurant carries on the spirit of The Waterside Meadery, which sadly closed after 55 years of family-run service. Though smaller in size, the new owners have worked hard to preserve the beloved ethos that defined the original. You’ll still find the authentic Meadery Fayre and the ever-popular Cornish Mead. Dining here means eating with your fingers* by candlelight, served on wooden platters — just the way it’s always been, even during the day.
* We do provide cutlery for meals such as salads, ribs, curry, mackerel, prawns and lasagne.
